Country Club of North Carolina, Dogwood Course - Pinehurst, NC #19 on Golf Digest's Best Golf Courses in North Carolina Founded in 1963, CCNC is the oldest gated golf community golf course in Pinehurst and the sandhills area. With expansive, pristine conditions covering 36 holes, CCNC was the childhood home of Hal Sutton and Web Simpson, and has a long tradition of tournament golf. CCNC hosted 73rd U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in July of 2021 and will host the 2030 U.S. Women's Amateur as well as the 2037 U.S. Senior Amateur tournaments.
